Most people start out with eBay as one of a number of part time working from home jobs, and begin thinking about devoting more time to it once it becomes successful. But when is the right time to quit the day job for a full time work from home job? Becoming a full-time eBay seller might not be for everyone, but I believe it is one of the best home-based job opportunities available, what should you consider?
Try working out how much time you spend home-based on eBay, and then look at the profit you make. If your work from home job was full time, would you earn more than you earn now? If you have an amazing day job (like the head of the company) as attractive as home-based jobs selling on eBay sound, will it give you the same success you could get from staying in your current job?
For most people who are working jobs from home, they have the set up and right working environment. Not all homes are ideally suited to eBay and internet jobs working from home - if you are selling large items you might need space for example. Real work from home jobs (which should be what you want your eBay business to be) mean putting in work and effort - can you do this at home, undistracted?
Whilst I think that an eBay business is one of the best working from home jobs available, if you had a couple of lean months, could you survive? If you can answer all these questions positively, maybe an eBay business could be just what you're looking for.
