We begin brand new with our PC and struggle along just trying to learn how to operate it properly. Next we get an account and presto enter the awesome world of the internet. We learn how to do some surfing and find a whole new world at our disposal, the information highway. There we see all kinds of spectacular things, find answers to any questions we choose. We act like a little child in a candy store, mesmerized by all the wonders and special offers that we come across.
We start clicking on this and that, and before we know it our mailbox is totally crammed with promises of instant riches and instant personal success.
Boy are they convincing!
So we start dreaming about ourselves in our new home with our expensive cars lined up in the long driveway only to rudely wake up suddenly with a credit card bill reminding us of the empty promises, and the new found deeper debt that started this in the start. We begin to fool ourselves in complete desperation that this time will definitely be different but it's not... Over and over again. We pay finally for more courses only to realize that we don't have a total clue of what their talking about or how to do what the program suggests. Ahh... more money down the toilet.

But anyway, this new business opportunity seemed like the very thing I wanted- lots of pictures of handsome guys leaning on fast cars in front of their outstanding homes... And more importantly, they boasted boatloads of cash... Fast.
So I bought it - and man, it wasn't cheap. Unhappily it turned out to be nonsense - one of those "multi-level" schemes. You know the stuff where you have to persuade all your family and friends to join up beneath you? It bit. But I still really wanted to lose my job, and out of my tiny apartment, so I didn't stop looking for other ways to make money.
Every day I'd finish work, hurry home, and be stuck to my computer - just scouring the internet, looking for the one thing that could really make me some cash...
I'd be up until 1 or 2 in the morning - there were days when I didn't even get to sleep, I just stayed up all night searching the internet, and went right to my job.
