Small Jobs - Work From Home by Offering Small Jobs Online

By Peter Hays

When thinking of the term "Work from home", many people are still thinking of the old 'getting $1 for every 100 pens that I assemble'. Today though, it is possible to do small jobs right from the comfort of your own computer and still make a nice pocket money, or even a living from this! You are the one who decides how much money you will make by this. Because you are doing small services, you can just say: "Hey, today I want to do five jobs, so I can go play with my kids." That's totally fine. While being out with your kids, you may discover a nice new pair of shoes or a digital camera that you just need to have! Alright, you simply decide to do more work then, spend more time working on your computer and you'll get what you want. That's the beauty of the simple model of working from home. You are in charge. You decide.

So which services could you carry out?

Well, in general these will be what is called freelance services. Services that don't require you to sign a contract with any company. You offer them, customers come to you and ask you to do it, you do the job, deliver the results they would like to have and that's it.

No boss that is getting on your nerves, no colleagues bothering you with their problems, no hassle.

Here are a few examples of small jobs that are carried out a thousand times a day by a lot of people.

Writing an article on a particular subject.

Many people have websites, but miss the expertise or just don't have the time to write content for them. Either you specialize in a certain subject for which you can write great articles or you just research the subjects that you get orders from.

It's not hard to do, but you'll be able to write an article in ten minutes after some practise and probably get paid around $5 for one.

Posting quality blog comments.

There are a lot of websites out there, where you are allowed to leave a comment and enter the address of your website at the same time. Your name will then become a link to the website address you entered.

This is of great value for people who would like to rank well in the search engines. But for high quality comments, you need to read the article and respond to the specific content. This requires time. People are willing to pay good money for this, so why don't you do it for them? For a little compensation of course.

Designing a website logo

Maybe you are interested in graphical design? Well, there are always people out there who require graphical services, for example the designing of a website logo or of a whole website. If you are interested, do a search on the topic, there should be loads of good tutorials on how to do this.

Maybe you will also just design a simple header for the site. If you've done this a few times it should take you 10-15 times max if the user doesn't have any extraordinary wishes.

I personally think this is loads of fun to do, because there really are so many tutorials out there, teaching you whatever you need to know and giving you great success moments very early on.

As a software I'd recommend GIMP. It's not as "pretty" as Photoshop, but it's free and does the same things.

Go here to offer small jobs yourself and make some money aside
or explore what other people are offering already:

You will not get rich over night, anyone who says that is just a liar, but it will be able for you to make some pocket money on the side.

The author of this article has successfully used similar systems to make some money and especially to let other people do the tasks he doesn't have the time to do. Therefore he is fully convinced that these systems work and serve the purposes mentioned well.

All About Work From Home Jobs

By Bijon Kumar Pramanik

The idea that one can sit at home, work very minimal hours at day and become wealthy seems ludicrous to many; and it should be, because this is not the American way. It is unrealistic to believe that in a couple of hours you can amass hundreds of dollars simply by stuffing a few envelopes or answering a few telephone calls. But every day, tens of thousands of people fall victim to work from home jobs that make empty promises to turn you into a millionaire quickly.

As the populations grow, gas prices hike and commuting long distances become the norm, it is not surprise that many are seeking out ways to earn an income within the comfortable confines of their home. Unfortunately, the legitimate working at home jobs are far and few between, and often those who enter into these scam contracts lose a lot of money-and pride-before they realize they have been taken for a ride. The adage if something seems too good to be true definitively applies to working at home jobs.

The stuffing envelopes work from home opportunity is perhaps the one that most people know of the best and the one that conned the most people. Some companies cited that one could earn several dollars per envelop! Unlikely in a time where there are machines that can produce, seal and stamp envelops in the hundreds of thousands in a matter of minutes. Would it really make sense and be cost efficient for a company to hire you at $3.00 or more per envelop? The definitive answer is no and companies are in the business of making, not losing, money.

Another infamous scam for working from home jobs are those that state that by answering surveys, you can supplement your income; others claim quick wealth. This is absurd. While some can make a few extra dollars filling out surveys for the few legitimate survey companies, usually these companies have fine print and in the end all you have done was enter your personal information that they will sell to other companies and profit from.

But not all hope is lost; there are a few reputable companies in existence that hire hundreds, if not thousands of employees to work for them from home. But realize, first to locate these legit companies takes work and research and secondly, you probably won't become instantly rich working a couple hours a day. The more rational and realistic picture is you will still have to put in your eight hours and will earn a nominal paycheck like most of the working population.

Some of the most lucrative work from home jobs currently are those that involve call centers, computer technicians and freelance writers. Platforms such as Odesk, Bistro and Elance outsource millions of actual writing jobs for writers, who with a honed craft, good work ethic and diligence can potentially earn a decent living. Alpine Access is a great source for those who have customer service experience and want to earn a decent wage answering inbound customer calls. If your niche is virtual assisting, the International Virtual Assistants Association is a great place to research to find legitimate work in this field.

Remember, in short of winning the lottery or inheriting a family fortune, it is unlikely to believe any company will make you rich for little time and effort on your part. Scrutinize every work at home opportunity carefully.

Work From Home Legitimate Jobs - How To Find Legit Work At Home Jobs

By Kendall Backus

Work from home legitimate jobs seem to be an illusion to most of us when considering starting a business online.

It makes us wonder if there are any legit work at home jobs available on the internet.

How many of us have signed up and spent money towards a "get rich quick" scheme, only to later find out that we had been scammed???

Maybe this wasn't the case.

Let me ask you this.

How many of us have done the same as above, not getting scammed, but found that the fore-mentioned promises that were made by such people didn't hold water???

We sign up and spend money towards a product/membership, yet, these marketers only tell us partially their "secrets" behind how they make their money.

Maybe, they tell us how to do what it is that they are implementing, but, it is so complex or foreign to us that we do not grasp the concept without actually being shown step by step how.

Trust me, I have been sitting in your shoes numerous times.

I don't recall how much money I have wasted on scams or partially explained methods to making money and prospering (let alone surviving) in this jungle we know as the internet business world.

Thankfully my ignorance and persistence has finally paid off.

Work from home legitimate jobs ARE possible....you just have to find the right guidance, and ladies and gentlemen I am going to show you that your dreams of starting your own business and being successful ARE also possible. I'm going to show you how.

First, a little bit about me and how I came across this wonderful opportunity.

I had just graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Management.

With the economy being in the shape that it is, I was having a hard time finding a full-time job since most companies were on a hiring freeze.

I have always been interested in starting my own business and had looked into (and attempted) many of the money-making products and memberships offered on the internet.

Most were always let downs and didn't produce any results until I happened to run across a legitimate work at home job.

Here are some steps that I used and recommend to find work from home legitimate jobs like the one I describe above.

1) First and most importantly, I recommend that you do your research.

Search the internet in the same way that you have come across my page. Be willing to spend valuable time doing your homework and it will pay off ten-fold in the future. Check out the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and look into businesses and their ratings.

2) I would also suggest checking out forums and talking with the many people who have tried and tested many products and membership sites in the past. They are a great resources that you can use and discuss with what has and hasn't worked for them in the past.

3) Also, when some one does turn you on to a person or their products, it wouldn't hurt to shoot them an email introducing yourself and what it is you are pursing. If that individual is a right fit and genuinely interested in trying to help you, they will more than likely respond to your email and give you valuable information that you can use towards your success. (This is also a great way to begin a business relationship that could pay off years down the road.)

4) Finally, the last bit of advice I would like to offer to you is to be persistent. Countless people doom themselves in this business from the very start because they are too willing to switch from one thing to another to another, without really ever giving anything a chance.

Like with any job, success only comes after work. The only time that success comes before work is in the dictionary.

Work from home legitimate jobs ARE real. With research and persistence you can experience success from legit work at home jobs!

Work From Home Assembly Jobs - What You Can Expect

By Scott Lindsay

Work at home assembly jobs often receive bad press. This is largely due to the fact that many of these jobs are actually a ploy, put into play by unscrupulous individuals or companies who only want your money.

The good news is there are legitimate home assembly jobs out there. The key to finding these jobs is learning how to bypass the scams, which typically promise earnings of hundreds or even thousands of dollars each week. Thorough research will help to pinpoint the ones that are on the "up and up."

Perform an online search on each of the companies that interest you. Check the Better Business Bureau website and visit work from home forums. Ask members to share both their success stories and complaints. NEVER pay any type of start-up fee until you locate several positive reviews about the company in question.

The majority of work at home assembly jobs are craft or artesian related. They often require you to sew something, paint something or put something together. As of this writing, a quick Google search brought up opportunities for making dollhouse furniture, crosses, bows, small jewelry boxes, ornaments and magnets.

Some assemblers have successfully found work by visiting craft fairs and festivals. Vendors sometimes prefer to hire others to do the work that they themselves find tedious or time-consuming.

Depending on the company or individual you are doing the work for, you may have to purchase some type of kit or supplies prior to getting started. If you are local to the company, it never hurts to ask if you can pick up these materials yourself, eliminating the cost of shipping.

(If you're not local to the company, make sure you will be reimbursed for sending in the completed items, before making any financial commitments. The last thing you want is to be charged for something that you are not legally responsible for.)

At the same time you receive your supplies, you will also receive instructions on how to complete the project or projects you've chosen. These instructions will either be in print form or on a CD. You will typically receive one sample piece, as well.

Once you receive approval for your finished items you will be paid for them. Items that do not meet company standards are returned to you to make corrections. Payment is "by the piece" as opposed to hourly. As of early 2011, the typical per item payment is between one and two dollars.

Work From Home Jobs: Legitimate Opportunity Or Just a Promise

By Albert Carrey

If you want to be protected from work from home jobs scam, you must keep yourself updated with the current marketing info and e-business tips so that you can protect yourself from somebody robbing you.

These kind of scams are done usually through spam mails, advertisement on websites i.e. notice boards, discussion forums etc. These work in home job offers are often bogus and fraud. Most of the times, these offers are a front for legitimizing their illegal income.

In these frauds, they send you an email about a job offer and ask you about your bank account number, so that they can send you your payment or you will pass payments forward for some other multinational company. They offer you a handsome commission, each time you transfer payment for them. This might be a front for a money laundering operation, and you may get into trouble with the law enforcement agencies.

You may get a job offer to write advertisements or sending envelops into mail. They ask you to submit a fee to start your work at home. But, when you pay the money, you will not receive anything, or you may be get an encouragement to join them in this scam and rob other people.

Genuine businesses offering work at home jobs do not send a spam email about a job offer. Beware of all offers where they guarantee you a 100% success. Be very very cautious about work from home jobs offer, where they ask you to pay a fee to start it.

No genuine job in the world asks for a fee to start your work. Legitimizing illegal income is a crime which may get you into trouble with the authorities. Do not become a part of any scheme where you have to transfer money for someone else. Do not share your credit card or online account information with any person or company you do not know yourself.

Before applying for a work in home job, try to gather as much information about the company as possible. If you think that they are using a real company as a front, then contact that company to ask about them. Make sure that company's website address matches with the company's name.

If you get any kind of a job offer from a company you think as a fraud or you are working for such a company now a days. You report it to the proper authorities. In short, always be on guard from such spam mails, verify about the company as thoroughly as possible and never go for a scam like joining fee etc.

If you're interested in online business opportunities, then it is a separate thing then a home job. To start an online business, it gonna cost you a bit i.e. hosting a website, marketing tools, advertisements, etc. Take your time to research and decide whether you're interested in online business or home based job.

Finding difference between legitimate and scam work at home jobs is really difficult. to add some extra money in their monthly income many people are now doing work at home, but first you need to find out legit one.
